It may not be as exciting as a concrete release date, but streamer and gaming sleuth Skullzi has shared a handful of new Starfield screenshots, apparently from an early 2018 build of the game. For gamers unfamiliar with Okami, it’s an action-adventure game with a cel-shaded visual style inspired by Japanese ink wash paintings. The story follows the sun goddess Amaterasu as she fights demons in Japan in order to remove a curse from the land. Her white wolf form is beautiful, fierce, and is an excellent look for a Palamute companion in Monster Hunter Rise. The look comes as a layered armor set called the “Ammy Costume,” which includes the white wolf’s flaming disc and features a trail of flowers behind the costumed Palamute when it sprints....

Monster Hunter Rise was announced recently as the next title for players to jump to after Monster Hunter World finally starts to die out. The game will launch March 26, 2021 for Switch, making a leap back to handheld gaming. Instead of facing ferocious monsters head-on in fast-paced real-time combat with friends, Stories takes a different approach, putting players into the shoes of a Monster Rider. These riders don’t live to hunt monsters for their parts but instead believe that monsters (big or small) can be befriended and become an ally to a person. By forming bonds with monsters, Riders can use them in battle and perform all-powerful special attacks to take out threatening beasts....

In an effort to fix the ongoing matchmaking issues with the Xbox One version of Monster Hunter World, Capcom is working closely with Microsoft. The two companies are collaborating on a patch that will be tested and then deployed “as soon as possible,” though an exact time fans can expect the matchmaking issues to be fixed hasn’t been announced yet. It’s unfortunate that Monster Hunter World players on Xbox One can’t properly utilize the game’s matchmaking features at this time....
