Many Morrowind fans will already be familiar with one of the game’s most popular mods, Morrowind Rebirth. Recently, the creator has announced that the add-on will be celebrating a ten year anniversary which also brings with it a massive update.

According to the listing on ModDB, a new update is now available for Rebirth which, as well as fixing some bugs, will also feature a ton of new content. Among many other things, the mod will have some new weapons and armor, as well as some “graphical improvements.” There are some tweaks to some of the areas as well, such as a new home in Dagon Fel, a new shack in Hla Oad, a new city gate in Vivec, new market stalls in Ebonheart, and a load of minor alterations here and there.

Maybe it doesn’t add a McDonald’s to Tamriel the way one other mod did, but Morrowind Rebirth is arguably one of the most popular add-ons for the game. It’s a massive overhaul of this much-beloved RPG which keeps this classic alive, despite it being nearly twenty years old at this point.

The Elder Scrolls 3: Morrowind is available now on PC and on Xbox consoles via backward compatibility.
