The official Overcooked Twitter account teased another new expansion Friday, one which will be available on all platforms for free starting October 1. It will be themed around the autumn season and predominately feature Asian-inspired scenery based on a teaser video included with the social media post. However, no concrete details have been released regarding how much new content this will add to Overcooked 2.

The party game is currently available on PC and all major consoles, but it has been especially successful on the Switch. According to metrics released by Nintendo, Overcooked 2 was the 13th most-downloaded game on the Switch in 2019, beating out multiple first-party titles including Super Mario Party and The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening, as well as popular indies such as Hollow Knight.

Overcooked, Overcooked 2, their DLC packs, and even more new content will all be part of Overcooked: All You Can Eat, a collection releasing for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X. This all-encompassing scope will presumably include continual releases like this upcoming autumn update, with whatever it may include for fans of the series. That title also promises to have enhanced visuals, better performance, more accessibility options like colorblind modes, and online multiplayer.

Overcooked 2 is out now for PC, PS4, Switch, and Xbox One.
