In Moon Knight episode 4, some fans have spotted a Marvel Studios crew member in one of the scenes when Oscar Isaac’s Steven Grant and May Calamawy’s Layla El-Faouly are exploring an Egyptian tomb. An image from the episode was posted on /r/MarvelStudios subreddit by a fan, with the username lovetheghost, and has been getting a lot of attention. It has been shared several times on different social media platforms by other fans who spotted the faux pas.

After Grant and El-Faouly step into Ammit’s tomb, most scenes are shrouded in darkness. As they venture through the old pathways, they come across a dead-end and Grant decides to look for an alternate route. While he finds a secret doorway on a higher platform, one of the crew members perhaps stepped too close to the actor and was accidentally caught on camera. It’s very hard to notice, but fans spotted the leg and shoe of the individual in the right corner of the frame at the 18:23 mark in the episode.
This isn’t the first time that such an error has occurred as part of the Disney Plus series. In Moon Knight episode 3, a camera person made a cameo in an integral scene. When Marc Spector first arrives in Egypt, he needs to find Ethan Hawke’s Arthur Harrow and his team and reach Ammit’s tomb before them. In order to do so, he is seen chasing some goons through the busy streets, which was a visually captivating sequence. However, in one frame, a camera person and their equipment is clearly visible. Fans immediately spotted the error, and started sharing screenshots from the episode on social media.
Apart from Moon Knight, Disney Plus’ extremely popular series The Mandalorian also had a similar goof up when a crew member was caught on camera in an important scene featuring Pedro Pascal’s Djarin, Gina Carano’s Cara Dune, and Carl Weathers’ Greef Karga. The individual was later removed from the frame and the episode was uploaded onto the streaming platform again, but fans will always remember him as “Jeans Guy.”
Moon Knight is streaming on Disney Plus.
