As seen below in the tweet from Good Smile Company, the firm recently revealed a new Nendoroid figure that’s in the works based on a hunter character from Capcom’s Monster Hunter World during Wonder Festival 2018. The concept art for the Nendoroid features a female hunter decked out in some of the game’s Rathalos armor, but unfortunately, there are no official images of the actual figure itself just yet.
As of now, Good Smile Company’s Monster Hunter World Nendoroid is without a release date or an official price tag, and considering the fact that all we have to go on is some concept art, there’s no telling when the company will have the figure ready for the general public. Nevertheless, it’s safe to presume that when the plastic figure becomes available, plenty of would-be hunters will line up to spend their hard-earned Zenny on it.
In the past, Good Smile Company has put out a bunch of Nendoroid figures for other popular gaming franchises, with The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild’s Link receiving one, as well as a handful of heroes from Blizzard’s team-based shooter Overwatch. But considering the fact that Monster Hunter World allows players to collect and equip a multitude of different armor sets, it will be interesting to see if the Japanese manufacturer eventually makes more MHW figures based on different gear in the game.
Monster Hunter World is available now for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, and is set to release in fall 2018 for PC.
