As seen below in Monster Hunter World’s accolades trailer, fans of the action-RPG are given glimpses of the game’s Fifth Generation Hunters exploring the New World, which is full of spectacularly lush environments and beautiful beasts to capture and battle. Not to mention, laid over the footage are quick blurbs singing the title’s praises – most of which give MHW nearly perfect reviews.
As it so happens, we’re inclined to agree with the majority of Monster Hunter World’s critical acclaim, as Game Rant’s own review of the title heartily applauds the action-RPG for both its solo and multiplayer aspects, its gorgeously designed worlds, tight and challenging gameplay mechanics, its wealth of content available, and so much more. In fact, we have been so impressed with what MHW has to offer that we’ve called it “a must-play game.”
Taking all of this into account, while Monster Hunter World is a huge hit with the myriad fans who have already picked up the title, there’s undoubtedly many folks out there who have yet to give the action-RPG a go due to the franchise as a whole having a reputation of not being accessible to newcomers. Sure, there’s still a learning curve, but it’s not quite as steep as it has been in the past, as the title gradually introduces new concepts to players throughout the course of the game, making it a solid purchase for both novices and veterans alike.
Monster Hunter World is available now for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, and will release at some point in fall 2018 for PC.
