After Monster Hunter World players have learned how to make money fast and mastered capturing a creature, they will eventually progress to a point in the game where they need to start collecting plates. At this point, like many others, the game doesn’t exactly hold your hand through the process. Not to worry though, the process is fairly simple:
First, players need to unlock the ability to fight their monsters in an arena. By participating in these battles, players will receive a heap of rewards. Amongst those treasures will sometimes be silver tickets, in addition to the regular items. When these special items are collected, players can then meld the ticket at the Elder Melder in Astera into any plate they need.
This can still be a bit of a grind, because players need to wait for the tickets to drop, but it should help towards collecting any necessary plates in a somewhat speedy fashion.

Monster Hunter World is available now on PS4 and Xbox One, with a PC release scheduled for this Fall 2018.
