To find Light Pearls in Monster Hunter World, fans should head to the Coral Highlands and look for gathering points designated by white question marks on their maps. These marks indicate that a Pearl Oyster is at the location, and players should find them near the Tzitzi-Ya-Ku den in Zone 7, underground in Zone 6, and in Zone 11.

Now all a fan must do is visit these Pearl Oysters and interact with them for a chance to obtain Light Pearls. Since these items are not guaranteed drops from Pearl Oysters, players may need to farm for a bit before they get the eight that they need. That said, Monster Hunter World fans that exercise a bit of patience should have little trouble finding Light Pearls and completing the Fetching Light Pearls quest.

As previously mentioned, players that finish the Fetching Light Pearls Event Quest will receive an Herbivore Ticket, and that can be combined with a Prized Pelt, which can be obtained from Anteka, Kelbi, and Popo on Master Rank, to create the Faux Kelbi Layered Head. As the name suggests, this armor piece transforms a hunter’s head into a Kelbi’s, and players that like to collect Layered Armor in MHW will certainly not want to let this one pass them by.

To that end, fans have until August 6 at 4:59pm PDT to pickup the Fetching Light Pearls quest and earn their Faux Kelbi Layered Head. At that time the Seliana Sizzling Spice Fest in Monster Hunter World, as well as the ongoing Astera Summer Twilight Fest, will reach its conclusion, and indeed it is currently unknown when players will have another chance to tackle this quest and add this strange cosmetic to their inventories.

Monster Hunter World is available now on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
