Thankfully, there are some additional methods to harvesting this much-sought-after resource beyond hunting and foraging. These can alleviate a bit of the tedium if one ever needs a break from the least visually pleasing area in the whole game.
Getting Warped Bones From Quests
While not the best method for farming this rare material, hunters can still passively nab quite a few Warped Bones through rewards given upon completely specific quests. The percentage chances of them appearing as quest rewards are relatively low, as is the quantity given in most cases, however, they still provide a low-effort means to gather Warped Bones while performing a different task.

Getting Warped Bones From Hunting Monsters
The small monster Raphinos can be helpful in this farming pursuit as both low and high-rank investigations (no master-rank ones) of this flying species can yield Warped Bones, albeit rarely. However, out of the dozens of organisms that proliferate this vibrant world, the only monster that naturally drops Warped Bones is the Radobaan.

Though keep in mind that one cannot traditionally carve, break, or harvest the desired material from these huge and spiky monsters; players can only mine Warped Bones from a Radobaan’s back to get them when the fiend is incapacitated or otherwise immobile. During combat, this can be tricky, especially since Radobaans are exceptionally resistant to the Sleep effect (1-star), so players seeking a way to stop this bony beast from moving around without slaying it should implement Paralysis or Stun tactics, as they have average effectiveness (2-stars) on the spiny monster.

Getting Warped Bones From Bonepiles & Tailraider Safaris
The most intuitive method for acquiring Warped Bones is obviously searching the many bonepiles that are scattered around every location in the game, though only bonepiles in the Rotten Vale can drop Warped Bones. It can be tedious to repeatedly search the same series of skeletons over and over, however, searching bonepiles is definitely the fastest and most efficient method for farming Warped Bones.
When one heads to the Rotten Vale, do a circuit of one’s desired route, and then leave before returning to do the same thing. Boring, yes, but drop rates don’t lie; this method will grant the most Warped Bones in the shortest time. Since all bonepiles have the same chance to drop Warped Bones, the optimal farming route one takes is completely subjective.

If a hunter has more pressing matters to attend to in-game, they can always ask a Felyne friend to help them out in terms of harvesting Warped Bones. One can do so by setting up a Tailraider Safari to the Rotten Vale, which has low odds of allies returning with the desired crafting material, though not much lower than any other method of farming these rare skeletal pieces. As a passive way to acquire more of these hard-to-find resources, it is surely worth the effort of sending one’s Palico pals on a safari.
