RELATED: Monster Hunter Rise Concept Art Shows Off Early Environments, Monsters, and More

Monster Hunter Rise provides a number of whimsical weapons that players use, to humorous effect. This includes cat-themed armaments such as the highly coveted Felyne Claws, which later become the Raging Claws. This is a Dual Blades type weapon that can paralyze foes, and it can reliably string together critical hits thanks to a powerful Rampage Skill. This fun weapon, along with the other Felyne weapons from other trees, requires the Felyne Fur Ruby as a crafting material.

Updated May 21, 2021 by Russ Boswell: Monster Hunter Rise is going strong and has already started receiving updates as well as crossover events (with Ninjala). The use for Felyne Fur Ruby hasn’t changed much since launch but there’s always more information to be found as players dive deeper into the Monster Hunter Rise universe. Anyone who wants to unlock everything the title has to offer will definitely need to get their hands on this rare crafting material. Thankfully, there are quite a few locations to get Felyne Fur Ruby in MH Rise.

Felyne Fur Rubies can be gathered from Junk Piles found in any of the various hunting grounds in the game. For the best shot at obtaining a Ruby from amidst the junk, players should conduct their search during a High Rank quest or Expedition. It should be remembered that bringing a Gathering-type Palico as a companion on a quest can sometimes lead to desired items being found in the rewards after completing the venture. For the specific locations of Junk Piles, hunters can consult the image below or the list that follows:

Shrine Ruins - At a high elevation near Area 3 Frost Islands - Atop the rocky structures north of Area 5 Sandy Plains - In the subterranean caves southeast of Area 12 Flooded Forest - The cliffs northeast of Area 7 Lava Caverns - Near a ruined shrine north of Area 1

Junk Piles are usually attended by groups of Felynes or Melynxes. This can be useful for hunters trying to craft the Felyne-themed weapons. These weapons and their upgrades require lots of Pawprint Stamps in addition to Felyne Fur Rubies. Pawprint Stamps are obtained from Felynes or Melynxes who have burrowed underground to escape attacking hunters. It’s a great chance for players to knock out multiple objectives when striving for powerful weapons.

What Can You Make With Felyne Fur Rubies?

Players who are eager to go out of their way to obtain many fun and effective weapons will likely be interested in putting together many powerful equipment builds. There is a staggering number of combinations to try out with all the various weapons and armor currently available in Monster Hunter Rise.
