Nargacuga Marrow is used in several weapons and pieces of armor themed around the insidious Nargacuga. To get access to the High Rank quests, players will need to work their way through either the Village or Hub Quests until reaching 4* hunts. Fortunately, the marrow does drop in Low Rank hunts which makes farming easier for players already tackling High Rank content.

When farming Nargacuga Marrow or any other Monster Hunter crafting component, patience is the name of the game. It may take several hunts to get one component to drop. And if players are trying to craft multiple items, it may take longer than usual to harvest all the resources. Making it an even tougher challenge is the inherent difficulty of the Nargacuga fight. This night-clad creature is not one to be taken on lightly.
The Nargacuga is a flying wyvern with a 6* threat level that appears in the Shrine Ruins and Flooded Forest. It is weak to thunder and fire while being resistant to water, ice, and dragon damage. They appear in the quests “Wind Speed Wyvern,” “Twilit Twin Stars,” “The Abyss Stares Back,” “Do it for the Dango!,” and “Arena 03.” It is a fast and ferocious opponent whose speed only increases when enraged. Hammer users in particular will have a difficult time keeping up and will need to plan their strategy of attack carefully.
