Where to Find Magnamalo Scutes in MH Rise
Unlike some materials that are found out in the environment in Monster Hunter Rise, Magnamalo Scutes can only be obtained by fighting against a Low-Rank Magnamalo. If players fight against a High-Rank Magnamalo, they can also get Magnamalo Scutes, but it will be the upgraded + version of the item, used for more powerful weapons and armor sets. 7% chance of getting it through Target Rewards, which are acquired by completing a Magnamalo quest. 19% chance of getting it by capturing a Magnamalo. This can be done with a Shock Trap or Pitfall Trap and Tranq Bombs. 80% chance of getting it by breaking Magnamalo’s parts. (Try to use heavy physical weapons like a Hammer Great Sword to break the monster down) 8% chance of getting it as a dropped material from Magnamalo.
